Collections Team

I joined Parker Walsh in February 2026 after nearly 20 years in personal insolvency and I am now looking forward to developing my career further within corporate insolvency, and outside of work I enjoy walking in the Peak District with my family and Cocker Spaniel Obi.

I bring nearly 20 years of experience in personal insolvency, specialising in Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs). Over my career, I’ve worked closely with both clients and creditors, dealing with a wide range of queries and helping to resolve complex cases. I also have extensive experience in facilitating variation meetings, making sure discussions run smoothly and lead to practical outcomes for everyone involved. I focused on clear communication, attention to detail, and providing steady support throughout the insolvency process.

My areas of expertise include asset identification and recovery, liaising with company directors to maximise asset realisations and achieve the best possible outcomes. I provide professional support and reassurance throughout the process, helping directors manage complex situations effectively and with confidence. With over 20 years of experience in customer service, I have developed strong communication and relationship management skills that support my role.

Qualifications & Training

I hold 9 GCSEs, alongside training in customer code of ethics, anti-bribery and corruption, vulnerable customer policies, GDPR, and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations, all of which support my role within corporate insolvency.

Making a Difference

I supported a company director who found the repayment of an overdrawn director's loan account particularly stressful and upsetting. I spoke to the director and provided clear guidance, regular communication, and reassurance throughout the process which I helped them through the process and understand their obligations. The director was very grateful for the support, and a positive outcome was achieved.

Why I love my job

My favourite aspect of my role is supporting directors during what are often stressful and uncertain times. I take pride in providing reassurance, clear and practical guidance, and a steady point of contact throughout the process. Being able to help directors understand their position, work through complex issues, and achieve positive and practical outcomes is particularly rewarding.

When I'm not in work

I enjoy walking in the peak district with my husband, two children and Cocker Spaniel; Obi.
