Colin is a highly respected and experienced figure within the insolvency profession, with a career spanning nearly 40 years.
During his 25 years as a qualified Insolvency Practitioner, Colin held office on a wide range of insolvency appointments across the UK. His experience covers a broad variety of sectors, including construction, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and even football. Over the course of his career, he has advised directors, managed complex appointments and supported businesses through some of the most challenging periods they can face.
Colin also played an important role in the early career of Molly Monks, as a couple of decades ago, Molly began her insolvency career working under Colin, who was her boss and mentor. His guidance, knowledge and practical approach helped shape the foundations of Molly’s career, making it a pleasure to now have him as part of the Parker Walsh team.
Colin brings a wealth of technical knowledge, practical insight and real-world experience to Parker Walsh. He is always willing to share his guidance, support and the occasional memorable insolvency story from years gone by.
Outside of work, Colin can often be found in Cartmel in the Lake District, where he has also written a book about the history of the village. He is usually accompanied by his rather famous dog, who has even written a book of his own.
