Louise Parkin

Manager

I am personable, approachable, organised and dependable. I enjoy helping both employees and clients feel supported and informed throughout the insolvency process. I enjoy being part of such a caring team who are all focused on the same common goal.

Before joining Parker Walsh, I gained a wealth of experience in the personal insolvency sector spanning over 25 years. I developed strong skills in management, communication, organisation and thrive on supporting both clients and employees in all aspects of managing their financial solution. My diverse background has helped me understand the importance of being approachable, adaptable and empathetic when dealing with all stakeholders during times of hardship and vulnerability.

My role at Parker Walsh encompasses all aspects of customer and employee engagement, including managing enquiries, supporting corporate insolvency cases, coordinating case information, handling creditor communications, undertaking statutory duties, and providing assistance to business owners as required. I am particularly passionate about identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency for both clients and employees, helping to ensure insolvency procedures are streamlined, effective, and easy to understand for all.

Qualifications & Training

Degree in life! Together with oodles of general charm, wit and being a nice person!

I continue to develop my knowledge of insolvency and business recovery through practical case experience and ongoing professional development.

Making a Difference

One of the most rewarding situations I have experienced involved supporting a company director who was facing considerable personal and professional challenges. He was deeply distressed, not only by the decline of his business but also by the impact the situation was having on his personal and family life.

I took the time to listen to his concerns, understand the pressures he was facing, and help him break down the issues into more manageable parts. I explained the process in a way that he could understand and make applicable to his personal circumstances. Having the opportunity to talk openly and be heard enabled him to gain perspective, regain a sense of control, and begin developing a clear plan for moving forward from what had felt like an overwhelming situation.

Throughout the process, I ensured he received clear, practical, and easy-to-understand advice. Just as importantly, I reassured him that Parker Walsh would continue to provide support and guidance whenever it was needed.

Why I love my job

My favourite aspect of working at Parker Walsh is being able support the whole team in helping Directors achieve the most appropriate solution.

When I'm not in work

Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and teenage daughter, holidays, music, jigsaws and being servant to my three cats!
